Lostau is a district of the municipality Moser unit in the district Jerichower Land in Saxony- Anhalt ( Germany ).

Geography

The village Lostau lies in the catchment area of the state capital Magdeburg, which is achieved both via motorway A 2 as well as on the federal road 1 after 15 kilometers. History

Archaeological finds have revealed that have settled to the Iron Age Germanic tribes in the Lost Auer area. Structures

The village church Lostau, located in the district of Old Lostau, was built 1150-1200 from quartzite rubble of Pretziener quarries as fortified church.
