Lothar Matthes

Lothar Matthes ( born July 23, 1947 in collar) was a successful German diver who competed for East Germany.

Sporting career

His athletic career began in 1962. By visiting the children's and youth sports school ( KJS ) in Chemnitz to sporting success at the district and state level presented a. In 1965, Lothar Matthes moved to Dresden for SC Einheit Dresden. Here was established in cooperation with his coach, his brother Hans Matthes, the cornerstone of many successes in the water jump.
