Lothar Meister

Lothar Meister, called Lothar Master I, ( born January 26, 1931 in Wittenberg ) is a retired German racing cyclist.

Lothar Meister, nicknamed " Lotte", started cycling in 1949 in Leipzig; at the age of 18 he won around Leipzig. 1952 changed the trained car locksmith to Chemnitz and drove in the future for " bismuth Chemnitz " (later " SC bismuth Karl- Marx-Stadt " ) In 1950 he was East German runner-up in the street,. 1952 he won the title between 1950 and 1956. he took five times at the International peace Race in part, ., 1951, he was second in the overall standings, 1953, he belonged to the GDR team that decided the team Appreciation for himself, and in 1956 he won the stage Görlitz Berlin In his career he came to around 60 wins, including in 1956 at around Dortmund.
