Lotus 20

The Lotus 20 was a Formula Junior racing car, built in 1961 by the British Motor Sport Team Lotus.

The Lotus 20 was introduced in 1961 at the London Racing Car Show. The Formula Junior car was more aerodynamic than its angular predecessor, the Lotus 18, the driver sat in a semi- reclined position. This seating position already corresponded to the later usual almost lying position of the driver in the cockpit. The front end was narrow, because you had the tank mounted behind the driver's seat.
