Louis Buffet

Louis -Joseph buffet ( born October 26, 1818 in Mirecourt, † July 7, 1898 in Paris) was a French statesman and Prime Minister from 1875 to 1876.

After the February Revolution of 1848 he was elected for the department of the Vosges in the Chamber of Deputies and represented the interests of the right. Buffet agreed in June 1848 Napoléon III. From August to December 1849 and from August to October 1851, he was Minister of Agriculture. In 1863 he was again elected a member of the Chamber of Deputies and did next to Émile Ollivier as one of the proponents of "liberal empire " out.
