Louis Campbell

Louis " Lou" Campbell ( born April 1, 1979 in Rahway, New Jersey ) is an American professional basketball player who has played in several clubs in the German Basketball Bundesliga. The multiple family father owns after marrying a Danish woman and Danish citizenship.

Campbell played during his college days at the University of Buffalo in NCAA Division I in the Mid- American Conference. One year after Campbell's financial statements for 2002 and the German national team Yassin Idbihi began his studies at this University. Campbell played by this time in Germany in the second basketball league in Paderborn. In his two-year stay in Paderborn, he recommended himself as one of the strongest players in the second division for higher class clubs and in 2004 was brought from pouring into the premier league. By casting the play-off semi-finals of the German Championship and in the second season of third place in the Top4 tournament of the Cup was achieved in the first season. He then moved into the Japanese Super League. In 2007 he had a brief involvement in the LEB Oro at the now defunct club from Huelva.

In 2009 he was brought back by his former coach Douglas Spradley of Paderborn in the BBL and plays since in Bremerhaven. As the best assist provider per game Campbell was elected team in his return season as the best player at his position in the BBL All- First. Campbell led his team as a sixth- place finisher of the main round the semi-finals of the German Championship, where they lost the Skyliners Frankfurt in the extension of the fifth and decisive game. He then moved to the EWE Baskets from Oldenburg, the German Champion 2009, with those in the first play-off round was eliminated after a rather mediocre season against Alba Berlin. After his contract was terminated and he joined the BBL season 2011/ 12 for league rivals Tigers Tübingen, where he was to lead the team to the league as an experienced player and team captain. After a season in which the primary objective was achieved relegation, Campbell joined the French LNB Pro A to Illkirch- Graffenstaden Basket from Strasbourg.
