Louis Emmanuel Jadin

Louis -Emmanuel Jadin ( born September 21, 1768 in Versailles, † April 11, 1853 in Paris) was a French composer.

Life

Louis -Emmanuel Jadin, son of originating from present-day Belgium musician Jean -Baptiste Jadin (1744-1790), who worked as a violinist in the court orchestra in Versailles, got from his father his first music lessons. He received further training as a page de la musique at the court of Louis XV .. in 1783 engaged him Théâtre Montansier in Versailles as a harpsichordist. In 1792, he joined the orchestra of the National Guard. Between 1792 and 1795 he made ​​numerous concert tours in various cities in France, sometimes in collaboration with François Adrien Boieldieu.
