This leads to the lesion of organs. This theory he put in his work The new healing science is the Especially poor digestion with constipation he saw as a trigger to many ailments.

In 1883 Kuhne in Leipzig a private treatment center, where he used different methods of hydrotherapy. The Sitzreibebad, in which the patient about ten minutes abrasion in a tub of cold water, the genitals should serve the accumulated toxins in the body in the direction of the intestines to move from where they could be eliminated later.

Sitzreibebad

Kuhne itself is in the new healing science an exact description of the rub bath seat for women and men, with a footstool placed in the tub and it is filled to the level of the seat surface with cold water. " The bather sits down then (...), appeared a coarse linen cloth (...) into the underlying water and now begins, as much water up bringing with that cloth to wash the genitals gently. No other part of the body comes into contact with the water. It should be emphasized that this ablution cover the outside, do not hit about the inner genitals, and that no sharp way Herscheuern, but only a gentle washing should take place with much water as possible. (...) The temperature of the water for the Reibesitzbad was so cold, as nature provides (8-12 ° R. = 10-14 ° C ) (...). The duration that the bath is 10-60 minutes, depending on the age and condition of the patient forces. (...) For men (...), the outer edge is washed ie the tip of the foreskin under water. The bather holds best with the middle and index fingers ( ... ) the early foreskin before the tip of the glans together, so that the latter of the foreskin is completely covered and washes now quietly under cold water constantly with a jute or linen cloth into handkerchief size, which he holds in his right hand under the water, the extreme outer tip or the outermost edge of the early foreskin. "

Therefore, the selected parts of the body are particularly suitable because here the most nerve ran together, so that in this way the entire nervous system of the organism can be influenced positively for the Sitzreibebad.
