Louis Nels
Louis Nel ( born December 16, 1855 † November 13, 1910 in New Castle ) was a German officer and Reich Commissioner of German South West Africa ( 1890-1891 ).
Nels attended the Lyceum at Metz. He has appeared as a lawyer in the Prussian civil service and was transferred in 1885 by German South-West Africa. Here he served under Heinrich Ernst Göring in the German colonial government. After Reich Commissioner Goering in 1890 resigned from his post, Nels was until 1891 the reigning Reich Commissioner to Curt von François took over the post.
