Louis Oppenheim

Louis Oppenheim ( born May 4, 1879 in Coburg, † 1936 in Berlin) was a German commercial artist and artists. Born in Coburg, studied in London from 1899 to 1906. He moved to Berlin in 1910 and began his career as a commercial artist. 1917 Award for his work on the war bond campaigns.

He signed his works "LO". His employers were: AES, Reichsbahn, Persil and Adrema. He coined the "Berliner Poster style ". Oppenheim also designed numerous logos such as ' Lo - font ' (1914 ) for the Berthold type foundry and the ' Fanfare ' (1927 ).
