Louis Pfenninger

Louis Pfenninger ( born 1 November 1944 in Bülach ) is a former Swiss professional cyclists.

Louis Pfenninger began his career with 20 years at the Swiss team Filotex. He was in the 1968 Six-Day Race in Montreal duo celebrate with his namesake Fritz Pfenninger his first big success. In the same year he managed the Tour de Suisse to decide for themselves. In 1970, he was Swiss champion in the time trial and a year later in the road race. Also he won in 1971 with Klaus Dieter Kemper Bugdahl and the six-day race in Zurich. Pfenninger won again in 1972 at the Tour de Suisse with a lead of 21 seconds on Roger Pingeon. Since he took a total of eleven times in the Tour de Suisse ( and she finished ten times ), he was also called Monsieur Tour de Suisse. In 1975, he finished his career.
