Louis Schaub

Louis Schaub ( born December 29, 1994, Fulda) is an Austrian football player. The midfielder plays in the Austrian Bundesliga SK Rapid Wien.

He plays mainly as an attacking midfielder, but is occasionally also called Right Wing or hanging tip used.

Sports career

Schaub started his career at VfB Admira Wacker Mödling. In 2007 he moved to SK Rapid Wien, where he played until 2011 in the youth department.

In 2011 he was appointed to the squad of the second team under coach Zoran Barisic for the Regional League East. His debut for the amateurs Rapids he was 9 August 2011 against SC Neusiedl am See. Schaub came on in the 83rd minute for Ferdinand Weinwurm. The game was won 2-1. This season, Schaub came on for another 22 missions and scored four goals.

Beginning of the 2012/13 season was the first-team coach, Peter Schöttel, aware of the young midfielder and brought him to the squad for the Bundesliga team for this season. His debut Schaub on August 18, 2012 compared to SK Sturm Graz, when he was in the starting and was replaced in the 60th minute for Luke Grozurek. The game at Gerhard Hanappi Stadium was won 3-0.

International Schaub completed so far some games for the Austrian U-16, U -17 and U-19 national team. For the latter, Schaub played nine games; last in qualifying for the U-19 Football Championship in 2013, in Austria after victories against Bosnia- Herzegovina ( 6-0 ) and Sweden ( 3-0) very thinly against France ( 0-1) failed.

2013 he celebrated in the Europa League his international debut. He scored two goals against Asteras Tripoli ( GRE) and one goal in the two play-off games against Dila Gori.

Private

Schaub's father is the former German Bundesliga player Fred Schaub (including working at Eintracht Frankfurt, Borussia Dortmund, Hannover 96, SC Freiburg and VfB Admira Wacker Vienna), who died in a car accident in 2003. Louis was slightly injured in the accident.
