Louis Seeger

Louis Seeger (* 1794, † 1865) was a German dressage rider, who studied at Maximilian Weyrother, at the Spanish Riding School in Vienna, the art of classical dressage. He was strongly influenced by de la Guérinière By Weyrother.

Seeger was one of the biggest critics of François Baucher, a controversial French riding master.

He founded in Berlin the first private riding school in Germany, where he passed his knowledge on to Gustav Steinbrecht.
