Louis Wolheim

Louis Wolheim ( born March 28, 1880 in New York, NY, † February 18, 1931 in Los Angeles, California ) was an American actor.

Life

In his early films such as The Romance of Elaine Wolheim was not in the credits, a little later he was in the 1916 released movie Dorian 's Divorce covered under the pseudonym Robert L. Wolheim, later followed by other pseudonyms such as Louis R. Wolheim or L. Walheim in the film Peg of the Pirates of 1918.

His trademark was the repeatedly broken nose. These injuries he moved to the football. He spoke French, German, Spanish and Yiddish.

Louis Wolheim initially played with in silent films. He became famous in the West (1930 ) from the year 1930.

Wolheim died in 1931 in Los Angeles from stomach cancer.
