Louisy Joseph

Louisy Joseph ( born April 14, 1978 in Lyon, real name Lydy Charlotte Louisy -Joseph ) is a French pop singer.

She is best known as a member of the band L5, who won in 2001 the first season of the French talent show Popstars.

After the separation in 2007 she was the first who launched a solo career. She signed with the label Athlético records of Pascal Obispo and benefited from the established songwriters of the publisher. As an artist name they consciously chose their dual last names to distinguish themselves from their time as Lydy in the girl group L5. In April 2008, her first solo album appeared in La saison des amours, which reached a peak position of number 25. Much more successful was their first single Assis par terre that went end of May to position 3 in the charts.
