Love Me Again is a song by British soul singer John Newman and the debut single from his debut album, released in October 2013 Tribute. The song was written by Steve Booker and Newman himself and published on 17 May 2013 as the download. In Britain, it reached number one on the charts.

Music Video

The music video tells the story of a couple who get to know in a northern soul club in the 1960s. While Newman himself on stage and sings, the two protagonists get to know off the dance floor. The respective companion of the couple want to prevent a relationship between the two, and while they get into a fight, flees the pair out of the club. Consequently, it is on the road, so it represents the end of the video, recorded by a transporter. In general, the story is based on Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. The government took over Vaughan Arnell, who had already worked for Robbie Williams and George Michael, Retro Mildmay Club in Stoke Newington, a district of London.

In the UK the single reached number one on the charts and stayed there for a week. In Germany they managed sixth place; in Austria and Switzerland fifth.

Reviews

Robert copsy from Digital Spy praised the single and finds that many are eager to hear more from him. He particularly stresses the " vocal presence " and " hip-swinging chorus " out.
