Love Sculpture

Love Sculpture was a British blues rock band. It was founded in 1966 in Cardiff, Wales by Dave Edmunds, Bob Jones and John Williams under the name Human Beans. In 1968 it was renamed the Love Sculpture.

The group also played " rock " alongside blues adapted pieces of classical composers as Aram Khachaturian Georges Bizet. The greatest success of the group was then also her rocking interpretation of the saber dance ( Sabre Dance) by Khachaturian, who stormed into the UK and Switzerland in the top ten and was relatively successful in Germany with space 28 for a purely instrumental tracks. In 1969 she was invited with her Sabre Dance also to a live performance at the legendary Beat Club, Radio Bremen, which was then still sent in black / white.

The band owes you have placed attention especially the head of the group, Dave Edmunds. This took Love Sculpture to show off his technical skills on the guitar and thus laid the foundation for his successful solo career. After 1970, he had his breakthrough with I Hear You Knocking, the band split up in the same year.
