Lovzar

Lowsar ( Chechen: Ловзар, fun or play ) is a dance ensemble of the popular Chechen youth orchestra, which tours extensively around the world. It contributes to the dissemination of the traditional Chechen culture.

History

Was founded the dance company in 1983 in the Republican Pioneer Palace in Grozny. As in 1994 broke out, the first Chechen war, the group disbanded Lowsar.

In 1995, the 30 male and female members of the ensemble came together again and founded Lowsar. Because of the second Chechen war, the dance ensemble Grozny had to leave and settled in Nalchik ( Kabardino -Balkaria ) down. The new Lowsar group found more new members in exile. Lowsar received numerous awards from many other countries.

The Chechen pop singer and dancer Makka Sagaipowa is a member of the dance ensemble.
