Lower Baddibu
Lower Baddibu is one of 35 districts - the second highest level of administrative divisions - the West African nation of Gambia. It is one of six districts in the North Bank Region.
According to a calculation by 2013 there live about 14,875 inhabitants, the result of the last published census of 2003 was 15,157.
The name is derived from Baddibu, a former small kingdom.

Population
According to a survey of 1993 ( former census ), the largest population group, the Mandinka with a share of about seven -tenths, followed by the Fula and Wolof. The distribution in detail: 73.6 % Mandinka, Fula 11.6%, Wolof 11%, Jola 0.3 %, 0.2% Serahule, 1.4% Serer, Aku 0%, 0 % Manjago, 1.4 Bambara % and 0.4 % other ethnicities.
