The railway line from Kufstein -Innsbruck (also Unterinntalbahn ) is a two-track, electrified main line in Austria, which originally called kk North Tyrolean State Railway was built. History

The line was opened as the first western Austrian railway track on 24 November 1858 after its construction was ordered already in 1853 by Emperor Franz Joseph I.. The 150th anniversary was celebrated in 2008 in Wörgl.

Expansion measures
