Lozorno
Lozorno ( Losorn German, Hungarian Lozorno ) is a municipality in western Slovakia with 2913 inhabitants ( 31 December 2011), which belongs to Okres Malacky, a circle of Bratislavský kraj.
Geography
It lies in the Zahorie at the foot of the Little Carpathians, between the capital Bratislava ( 22 km) and Malacky (16 km).
History
The village was mentioned in writing in 1314 for the first time as Ezelarn.
