Lu Chen (magician)

Lu Chen (刘 谦Chinese, Pinyin Liu Qian, Liu Ch'ien W.-G.; born June 25, 1976 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan) is a Taiwanese magician.

Biography

At the age of seven years, Lu Chen was interested in the magic art, so that he could successfully participate in a national youth magic competition at the age of 12 years, in which David Copperfield was on the jury and later encouraged him not to stop the magic. However, he doubted himself, to become a professional magician, so he tried after studying Japanese literature and Japanese language at Soochow University to find a regular job. Since he did not succeed, he tried with his magic to make money. In 2001, he managed to become the most successful show with his own TV show Magic Star in the Taiwanese TV station STAR Chinese Channel.
