Ľuba Orgonášová

Ľuba Orgonášová (* 1961 in Bratislava) is an opera singer (soprano ).

In 1979 she was engaged at the National Theatre in Bratislava. She was part of the ensemble of the 1984-1988 opera house in Copenhagen. 1990 Herbert von Karajan invited her to sing at the Salzburg Festival. They also appeared at the Vienna Volksoper, the Festival in Aix -en- Provence and at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, and in Hamburg, Cologne, Stuttgart, Lyon, Paris, Amsterdam, Zurich, Chicago, Tokyo and Atlanta. Orgonasova works regularly with conductors including Nikolaus Harnoncourt and John Eliot Gardiner. Her repertoire includes mainly Mozart roles, but also roles from the bel canto specialist.
