Lubiniezky (crater)

Lubiniezky is an impact crater in the southwest of the Moon front page on the northwestern edge of Mare Nubium, northwest of the crater Bullialdus. The crater is largely flooded by lavas of Mare, leaving only a remnant of the crater rim is visible.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 from the Polish astronomer Stanislaus Lubiniezky.
