Luboš Fišer

Luboš Fiser ( born September 30, 1935 in Prague, † June 22, 1999 ) was a Czech composer, film composer and director.

Life and work

Born in 1935 in the Czech capital, Luboš Fiser graduated in 1960 his studies at the Conservatory in Prague and the Academy of Arts and Music, among others, Emil Hlobil. As a composer and director of more than 300 films, he is successful worldwide. In his work, 15 leaves after the Apocalypse by Albrecht Dürer in 1965 he was awarded in 1967 in Paris by UNESCO Prize. With the soundtrack to Bludiště moci 1979 he won the Premio Italia price, with the soundtrack to Zlati uhori 1980 he won the Prix Italia in 1995 for the soundtrack to Golet v udoli the Czech lion.

In his works of avant-garde techniques appear ( graphical notation and aleatoric ). Its originality lies in his very personal way to handle the themes of his works with special revision or amendment techniques. Recently he returned to precise notation that suits his refined, concise, intensity and contrast style. As an environmentally concerned artist, he placed quite warnings in his music.
