Luboš Kubík

Luboš Kubík ( born January 20, 1964 in Choceň ) is a former Czech football player and current coach.

Playing career

In his youth Luboš Kubík played for Spartak Choceň and Spartak Hradec Králové in the second division season 1981/82 he came to his first stakes in the men's team. In early 1983, the tall defender of Slavia Prague has been committed. 1988 Slavia made ​​a trip to Germany, during which Kubík and his teammate Ivo Knoflíček decided to flee, leading to an automatic suspension for 18 months after itself. Both had the prospect of a contract with the English club Derby County.

Kubík and Knoflíček was offered under the condition of returning to Czechoslovakia, unlock the phone, and to be able to move abroad. Coaching career

In the summer of 2006, he was coach of the Polish second division club Slask Wroclaw, from this post he resigned in October 2006.
