Luc-Adolphe Tiao

Luc Adolphe Tiao - ( born June 4, 1954 in Tenkodogo, Upper Volta, now Burkina Faso ) is a diplomat and politician from the West African nation of Burkina Faso. As part of a Government reshuffle in response to riots and mutinies of individual troops and police organs Tiao was appointed by the President Blaise Compaoré of Burkina Faso to the Prime Minister on April 18, 2011. Tiao is a member of the CDP.

Life

Tiao studied from 1977 to 1980 at the University of Dakar journalism and then right in Ouagadougou. His career was marked for a long time, against this background, Tiao held various positions in the media, in government and in diplomacy. Prior to his appointment as Prime Minister he was in France since 2008 Ambassador of Burkina Faso.
