Luc Court

The Société des Anc. Établissements Luc Court et Cie was a French manufacturer of automobiles and commercial vehicles.

Company History

The electric equipment factory from Lyon produced from 1892 Car Accessories and 1899 their first automobile. 1936 ended the production of automobiles. Trucks were either gasoline or diesel engines until 1952.

Rolling stock

The first model of 1899 was the 8 CV with a two-cylinder engine. It was followed by the four-cylinder model 20/24 CV. From 1904 the vehicles shown as a special on a shared chassis so that the engine could easily separate from the rest of the car to the front of the vehicle. On the way without much effort, it was possible to fit different body structures in summer and winter. 1906 was the offer from the two-cylinder model 10 CV and three four-cylinder models 10 CV to 40 CV. 1910 appeared the four-cylinder model 14 CV, which was produced without major changes until 1936, and the six-cylinder model 18 CV. In 1914 the four-cylinder model 20 CV 3600 cc capacity to do so.

After the First World War, there was next to the CV 14 to 1925 still a large four-cylinder model with 4700 cc capacity.

Two vehicles of the same brand can be seen in the Musée Henri Malartre in Rochetaillée -sur -Saône.
