Luc Grethen
Luc Grethen ( born December 1, 1964 in Luxembourg ) is a Luxembourgian composer and musician.
Life
Grethen studied composition, orchestration and conducting at the Metropolitan Conservatory of Luxembourg, as well as the oboe and English horn at the Conservatory of Strasbourg and at the Conservatory of Mons in Belgium. From 1983 to 1987 he undertook further studies in musicology at the " Université des Sciences Humaines de Strasbourg ", where he graduated with a master's degree in musicology.
Since 1990 he is a lecturer in music history at the Metropolitan Conservatory of Luxembourg since 1991 and a professor of music education. He composed works for chamber music, and orchestral and vocal works. Today, he is a music teacher at the Lycée Hubert Clément in Esch.
