Luca Agamennoni

Agamennoni Luca ( born August 8, 1980 in Livorno ) is an Italian rower who won two Olympic medals.

Career

Agamennoni won his first international medal at the World Rowing Championships in 2001 in Lucerne, when he won together with Edoardo Verzotti, Massimo Cascone, Luca Ghezzi and helmsman Gianluca Barattolo silver behind the French four with coxswain. From 2002 to 2004 Agamennoni rowed mostly in Skull - boats, at the 2003 World Championships, he finished with the Italian sculls sixth place. For the Olympic Games in 2004, he returned to the belt - rowing. The Italian coxless four with Lorenzo Porzio, Dario Dental, Luca Agamennoni Raffaello and Leonardo won the bronze medal in Athens behind the boats from the United Kingdom and Canada.

2005 Agamennoni met with Dario Lari in the coxless pairs and finished at the World Cup regatta in Munich and Lucerne as well as at the World Championships in Japan each third place. In 2006, Agamennoni in the eighth, with whom he won silver at the World Championships in Eton. After the Italian Aft 2007 15th place was at the World Championships and the Olympic qualification so clearly missed, Agamennoni returned in 2008 to the Skullern back. The World Rowing Championships 2009 took the Italian boat in which Raineri had been replaced by Alessio Sartori, sixth place.
