Lucas Oil Stadium

The Lucas Oil Stadium is a football stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. The stadium was opened in 2008 to replace the RCA Dome as the home stadium of the NFL teams Indianapolis Colts.

On 28 February 2006, announced that the engine oil manufacturers Lucas Oil purchased the naming rights for 20 years. Before that, the stadium was referred to as Indiana Stadium.

Method of construction

The stadium has to play a retractable roof, allowing the Colts in the open. On the north and south sides of the stadium has a large glass wall that can also be opened.

Events

The first public concert at Lucas Oil Stadium held the country singer Kenny Chesney on September 13, 2008. On February 5, 2012 here is the Super Bowl XLVI was discharged.
