Lucciana

Geography

Lucciana is located on the eastern edge of the Corsican Mountains. The municipality district, which extends over the coastal plain to the Mediterranean Sea, including the villages Casamozza and Crocetta and holiday villages Plage de la Marana and Plage de Pineto on the Tyrrhenian Sea. The southern boundary of the municipality is the Golo, the longest river in Corsica.

The municipal area of Lucciana is the largest part of the airport Bastia including approach and terminal buildings.

The neighboring municipalities are Vignale in the west and northwest, Borgo in the north, Monte and Vescovato in the south and Prunelli- di - Casacconi in the southwest.
