Lucenzo

Lucenzo ( born May 27, 1983 in Bordeaux, France; actually Filipe Oliveira ) is a Portuguese rapper and singer.

Career

Lucenzo was born on 27 May 1983 as the son of Portuguese parents in the western French city of Bordeaux. At the age of six he began playing the piano and five years later, at the age of eleven, he discovered singing for themselves. As a musician Lucenzo has been operating since 1998. He first started out as a rapper and later evolved towards Reggaeton. His first album remained largely unnoticed. He had 2007 Emigrante del mundo, released in Scorpio Music His breakthrough. It became a big radio hit in France and established Lucenzo in the scene for Latin American music.

2010 followed the collaboration with Big Ali for the title Vem kuduro dançar. The song was a Dancehit and a summer hit in France, reaching # 2 on the charts. Up to Switzerland, the success spread. The Puerto Rican Don Omar Lucenzo took along with a Spanish- Portuguese version, entitled Danza Kuduro on and released it in the U.S.. It reached # 1 on the U.S. Latin charts. In Spain it reached number 15 In addition, they included on the official soundtrack of the film Fast Five. In 2012, he released the single Wine It Up with the Jamaican dancehall singer Sean Paul, however, could not come close to the success of Danza Kuduro.

Style

Lucenzos music is heavily influenced by Latin Beats, Kuduro and Reggaeton. In addition there are influences of Angolan and Portuguese music. He sings in French, Portuguese, Spanish and English.
