Lucia Aliberti

Lucia Aliberti ( born June 12, 1957 in Messina) is an Italian opera singer (soprano ), particularly of the bel canto compartment ( Rossini, Bellini, Donizetti ) and Giuseppe Verdi.

Aliberti studied piano, composition, conducting and singing at the Conservatory in Messina ( where she graduated with top marks ) and then in Rome with Luigi Ricci and Alfredo Kraus. She won the Italian singing competitions ENAL ( Ente Nazionale Assistenza Lavoratori ) in 1977 and the Spoleto in 1978, where they at the Festival di due Mondi with " La sonnambula " by Bellini had an acclaimed debut at the same time.
