Lucidity

The term lucidity ( from the Latin for clarity) called in medicine, the consciousness and clarity. It is closely connected with the degree of alertness.

The orientation to person is checked ( "auto psychologically ": name, age ), location ( eg hospital, city), situation ( be ill, will therefore investigated ... ) and time ( is the quickest lost in disorders of brain function ). Other neuropsychological functions such as perception, attention, sense of time, memory, etc., are to be regarded as sub-functions or requirements for orientation.
