Lucidus
The Lucida font family was designed by Charles Bigelow and Kris Holmes in 1984/85.
It was available as one of the first fonts for DTP, is universally applicable and is characterized by a clear picture with sometimes classical coatings. Characteristic of the Lucida is a large x - height, which, however, limits the suitability for large quantity text.
Variants
The clan includes several variants, including:
- Special fonts ( Blackletter, Calligraphy, Handwriting )
- Serif fonts ( Typewriter, Fax, Bright) and
- Sans-serif fonts ( Sans, Sans Unicode, Sans Typewriter, Grande)
