Lucie Olbrechts-Tyteca

Lucie Olbrechts - Tyteca (* 1899, † 1987) was the long-standing academic partner of the argumentation theorist Chaim Perelman, whom she assisted voluntary.

Life

Olbrechts - Tyteca - coming from an influential family in Brussels - studied literature and social science topics and methods at the Brussels University without ever having to pursue a professional career.
