Lucien Cooremans
Lucien Georges François Philippe Cooremans ( born September 1, 1899 in Sint -Gillis; † 22 February 1985 in Brussels) was a Belgian liberal politician.
Career
Cooremans was a lawyer, journalist and lecturer at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB ). As a politician, he was a member, alderman and 1956-1975 mayor of Brussels. He was one of the central figures of the World Exhibition Expo 58
Cooremans was a member of the Federation of the Freemasons.
