Lucien Mettomo

Lucien Mettomo ( born April 19, 1977 in Douala ) is a former Cameroonian footballer who also has French citizenship.

The defender started his career in his home country at Ocean Kribi. In 1996 he moved to French club AS Saint- Étienne, for two years later he was first used in Ligue 2. This season, he came to a total of 33 missions, scoring seven goals, which he had a major role in the rise of the club. Over the next two seasons he lost to Saint- Etienne his place in defense and also experienced the descent into the season 2000/2001 Ligue 1. After five games in Ligue 2, Mettomo changed before final transfer to the British island to Manchester City. For the Premier League club he played in his first year 23 times.
