Lucien Poirier

Lucien Poirier (* 1918 † 10 January 2013) was a French general and author.

Lucien Poirier has been dealing with deterrence theory and considered the father of statégie you faiblement au fort, the French nuclear program.

Together with Hervé Couteau -Bégarie he led the Economica. In 2001 he was winner of the Prix « Edmond Fréville -Pierre Messmer " of the Académie des sciences morales et politiques.
