Lucija Polavder

Lucija Polavder (* December 15 1984 in Griže at Žalec ) is a Slovenian judoka.

Polavder participated in the 2004 Summer Olympics, where they do not make it past the first round. At the Olympic Games in 2008, she reached the semi-finals where they were defeated by the Japanese Maki Tsukada. In the battle for the bronze medal defeating the Korean Kim Na-Young and was thus by Urška Žolnir 2004, the second Slovenian judoka who won a medal at the Olympics.

Other successes

At the 2007 World Championships and the European Championships in 2012 she won silver. At the European Championships 2003, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2011, she won bronze medals. 2010, also at the European Championships, she won gold. By 2012, they won 13 Slovenian national championships, in 2007 she won the title at the World Military Games.
