Lucius Tiberius Claudius Pompeianus

Lucius Tiberius Claudius Pompeianus ( Commodus ) was a Roman politician and senator of the 3rd century.

Pompeianus came from Antioch. His father was Lucius Commodus Aurellius Pompeianus, who was consul in the year 209 and was executed during the Great Purge, after the death of Geta, Caracalla ( end of 211/212 ).

Pompeianus was in the year 231 ordinary consul.

His full name - previously known only as Claudius Pompeianus - became known after the discovery of a military diploma.
