Lucjan Brychczy

Lucjan Brychczy ( born July 13, 1934 in Nowy Bytom (now Ruda Śląska ), Poland, called Kici ) is a former Polish footballer and football coach.

Club career

He was considered one of the best strikers in the 1950s and 1960s. Brychczy played his entire career long for the army club Legia Warsaw. In 368 games for the capital club he scored 182 goals. Lucjan Brychczy is a Legia legend and holds some records ( most games ( 452 games), the most goals ( 227 goals), the longest team membership ( almost 18 years) and the oldest scorer (37 years 2 months 31 days ) ). Despite Offered by, inter alia, Real Madrid and AC Milan, he could not move abroad as an officer of the Polish Army.

National
