Lucy Filippini

The Saint Lucy Filippini ( born January 13, 1672 Corneto in Tuscany, † March 25, 1732 in Montefiascone ) is the founder of the Congregation Maestre Pie Filippini sister.

She was already orphaned early and was then active in school education at the Blessed Rosa Venerini. The Order was founded by her had the same orientation and was supported by Cardinal Antonio Barbarigo. She founded several schools in Italy, including one in 1707 at the request of Pope Clement XI.
