Ludmilla Jordanova

Ludmilla Jordanova ( born October 10, 1949) is Professor of Modern History at King's College London. Before that, she held the post of Director of the Centre for Research in the Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities ( CRASSH ) at Cambridge University and was a professor of art history and science at the University of East Anglia ( UEA ) and before that for three years Professor of cultural History at the University of York. She is the author of many articles on this subject, including a book entitled "History In Practice" ( published in 2000 ) and is a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society. She is also President of the British Society for the History of Science ( British Society for History of Science - BSHS ).
