Ludovico Lipparini

Ludovico Lipparini ( born February 17, 1800, Bologna, † March 10 1856 in Venice) was an Italian painter.

Life

Ludovico Lipparini was born on February 17, 1800 in Bologna. From 1825 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice ( Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia), where he became friends with his teacher and later his father Teodoro Matteini ( 1754-1831 ). In 1838 he took over the chair of his father, in 1846 the professor of art Odorico Politi ( 1785-1846 ). Among his pupils were the painter Cesare Dell'Acqua and Dionysios Tsokos. Lipparini died on March 10, 1856 in Venice.
