Ludwig Franz

Ludwig Franz ( born August 30, 1922 in Wörth an der Donau, † July 2, 1990 in Rottach -Egern ) was a German politician of the CSU.

Life and career

Franz, the Roman Catholic faith was first attended elementary school Wörth and then the high schools in Straubing and Regensburg, where he in 1941 the Abitur. From 1944 to 1949 he studied history, economics and journalism at the Ludwig- Maximilians- University of Munich. Then was until 1953 the political editor at the newspaper Donaubote (up to 1950), the Tages-Anzeiger and German daily mail (both from 1950). Since 1953 he was secretary of the Association of Catholic business people.

Party

Franz joined in 1950 at the CSU.

Member of Parliament

Dr. Francis belonged to the German Bundestag from 1953 to 1976. He represented the electoral district of Rosenheim in Parliament.
