Ludwig II, Count of Württemberg

Ludwig II (c. 1137, † 1181 ) was from 1158 to 1181, Count of Württemberg.

He was married to Willibirg (* 1142, † 1179 ), daughter of Count Hartmann III. of Kirchberg.

Documents in which a ruler by the name of Ludwig of Württemberg is mentioned exist with the addition of Graf to 1154. Presumably these are related to Ludwig I.. Until 1166 the name Ludwig is then mentioned without earldom. The first mention of Ludwig II with the title of Count dated to the year 1181 in a charter of Emperor Frederick I Barbarossa.
