Ludwig Wenz

Louis Wenz (* August 24, 1906, † April 19, 1968 ) was a German football player. He played one match for the German national football team.

Louis Wenz played for the general sports club Nuremberg as a goalkeeper. Unlike many other excellent Nuremberg football players he moved never to 1.FC Nürnberg. Nevertheless, he was appointed in 1930 once in the German national soccer team. That same year, the long-time goalkeeper of the national team Heiner Stuhlfauth had ( 1.FC Nürnberg ) denied his last international game. However, as his successor, Louis Wenz could not recommend in the 3:6 defeat on 7 September 1930 in Copenhagen. From 1931 he played for many years for the three -time German champions SpVgg Fürth.
