Ludwig Wieder

Louis Again ( born March 22, 1900 in Nuremberg, † December 2, 1977 in Nuremberg ) was a German football player.

Career

In the club

The career of striker Louis re- started when TV Schweinau, before joining the 1st FC Nuremberg in 1922.

With this club he celebrated his greatest successes. After he had been in 1923 even sorted out temporarily from the first team, he established himself as the successor of Willy Böß of in the middle. In 1924 he won the club its first German Cup by a 2-0 win over Hamburger SV. A year later the title defense against FSV Frankfurt 1-0 succeeded in extra time, where he was the scorer of the winning door. The last title win he recorded in 1927, when Hertha BSC was defeated 2-0 in the final. From May 1926 he swapped the position for some time with the severely obese Hans calf and also played as a center half. This stopgap measure, however, was not permanent, as re missing in the attack of the club. Until 1931, he played a total of 437 games for Nuremberg.

For October 1931 drew the trained electrician to Duisburg where he took over the training of the Postal Sports Club Duisburg, for which he was also active as a player. In August 1937 again took over as coach at Alemannia Aachen and worked there until 1939. After the Second World War he worked in the GDR as a physical education teacher and was active as a coach, so at Turbine Erfurt and rotation Babelsberg.

National

Outstanding achievements in one of the leading clubs at the time led almost inevitably to the fact that Ludwig was re- appointed to the German national team. For the first time he ran on in a game against Switzerland on June 3, 1923. As early as 1926 ended with his sixth international game he played against the Netherlands, his career as a national team, in which he was able to achieve two goals.

For more assistance interventions, however, not reached, perhaps because he was considered a rather " quiet representatives " and with his thoughtful nature could not win the favor of the Nuremberg audience.
